You have arrived at Buffalonya … a city/state of mind.

I’m your guide and host, Jon Rieley-Goddard. This web site is my portal page.

I’m a writer, photographer, and minister AKA storyteller.

You have arrived at the door through which you can choose yet still more doors.

All of these doors will take you to my world, which I call Buffalonya, a word that I coined to describe certain contradictory aspects of my hometown, Buffalo, New York.

Buffalonya, which rhymes with such words as Bologna, pleases those of us who live here and enjoy its natural wonders and period architecture.

Buffalo, which in some minds rhymes with rust or snow, gets little respect from those who live in other places.

Come and see why this mature professional would rather live here than anywhere else.

• Door No. One — BaldyBlogs, my various blogs and my photoblog of black/white and color work, mostly outside and mostly of western New York.

• Door No. Two — BaldyBooks, my print-on-demand publishing arm for my works of fiction and fact, with some things falling in between.

• Door No. Three — Backyard Boatbuilding in Buffalonya (basement boats, actually).

I coined the word Buffalonya to denote a virtual city that is roughly equal to Buffalo, New York.

A city/state of mind, if you will (and even if you will not).

Buffalonya rhymes with bologna.

And I do love this place.

I am all over the place, in both my virtual and my actual worlds.

I take photographs, I write books, I publish books, and I make boats in my basement.

I preach on Sundays and post meditations and audio to a blog.

I sell used books on Amazon.

Buffalonya.com serves as a portal for all my parts.

I operate a number of blogs, including a photoblog, BaldyBlogger, for black/white and color photos that I take, mainly outside (except for the cats) in Buffalo and western New York.

Jon Rieley-Goddard (that’s me) is author, editor, and publisher, and everything else, of BaldyBooks, a print -on-demand concern that is concerned with publishing Jon Rieley-Goddard’s books.

I have two books in process — a serial novel series and a book on grammar and usage for writers.
